T-Shirtmonster Review
T-Shirtmonster is not your ordinary t-shirt shop just selling plain old t-shirts. They have a unique set-up where they offer custom t-shirt design and the opportunity to sell your designs for free! I’m not much of an artist but for those who are creative, this would be a great opportunity to show off your work and make a bit of coin too!
T-Shirtmonster specializes in custom t-shirt design whether you want to create your own design or browse through the multitude designs available from graphic designers, business or charities. You can create a design and then upload it to the site where others can find it and purchase it for their t-shirt. This is winning situation since there is no inventory or fees and you receive a monthly commission cheque from T-Shirtmonster. Hockey Night in Canada uses T-shirtmonster to raise money for minor hockey in Canada.
All of their t-shirts are printed on demand and are made to last. They take quality very seriously and each t-shirt is hand folded and inspected to ensure their 100% customer satisfaction guarantee.
My Review
I love the set up of T-Shirtmonster. I wish I had more of a creative flair because I think it would be so much fun to design t-shirts and make money doing it! T-Shirtmonster gave me a $25 gift certificate to design my own t-shirt for my review. The process was very simple and straightforward. I browsed through the available designs and saw many that I liked and would love to own. I wanted to do my own thing and have something personal to me so I decided to get a blank t-shirt and finish it myself. I ended up putting a picture of my two children on a t-shirt. I thought it may not be very creative, but it’s meaningful to me.
All I had to do was upload my picture and then I could adjust it to make it bigger or smaller and move it to where I wanted it on the t-shirt. I kept my picture large and smack dab in the centre. You could also add text, but I decided the text wouldn’t look good on top of the picture since it would be covering up my two kid’s faces and well, I don’t want that! I also went with a plain white t-shirt in a kid’s small. I thought my daughter, Bridget would love to wear this shirt because Olivia is her “best friend” and she would be proud to show off a picture of her and her big sister.
The t-shirt I received is called a “Youth Premium T-Shirt” and is 100% cotton with a double needle coverstitched collar, sleeves and hem. The white one is $14.95, lighter colours like baby blue are $17.55 and darker colours like black are $19.95. I was impressed with how clear the picture turned out on the front of the t-shirt. The colours all came out perfect and it was nice and soft. Bridget wore her t-shirt and found it very comfortable.
I recommend T-Shirtmonster for anyone who wants a custom t-shirt that is one of a kind!
