Mama Mio Review
Mama Mio products are designed to improve and maintain the tone, texture and elasticity of your skin. They are proud to be the leaders in a new movement in skincare in achieving facial quality bodycare focusing on the benefits women want and to help maintain fit skin for life. They have products that work with all ages and skincare needs.
Mama Mio was founded by three beauty experts in London who were also moms and knew the toll that motherhood can take on your skin. Their mission became to use all of their experience to help women feel good in their skin for every stage of life.
Mama Mio sent me four products to try out- Boob Tube, Supersmooth Body Buff, O Mega Body Oil and Moisturising Shower Cream and in nice big bottles too. I was really excited to try them out because my skin really needs some TLC.
Boob Tube is Mama Mio’s best-selling product and they have difficult keeping up with the demand. After trying it out, I can definitely see why. This product rocks! Its designed to help avoid the classic lifecycle of every boob after being pregnant and nursing. I don’t want to get into details, but I have had two kids and nursed both and things were definitely NOT the same as they were before.
Boob Tube can be used by everyone not just moms and plastic surgeons are even recommending it to help skin cope and heal with bust surgery. Women of all ages can use this product for daily maintenance.
Mama Mio Boob Tube is a rich blend of nature’s healing and highly moisturizing ingredients and packed with omega 3, 6 and 9 and CoQ10. Each ingredient has a specific role to achieve the overall desired effect of firmer skin and elasticity.
I used this product daily for the past 2 weeks and have noticed a difference. It does seem to “pick things up” and its very moisturizing too. It has a nice smell too and rubs in easily on your skin. I have incorporated it into my daily regimen and highly recommend it!
I love to exfoliate my skin and love the feel of how soft and smooth my skin feels. The Supersmooth Body Buff was extremely gentle and it was so finely ground that it didn’t “hurt” going on. Sometimes with the grainier exfoliators my skin becomes a bit sensitive so I appreciated the smaller and refined ingredients.
I let another mom friend of mine try it out and give me her take and she said “This product has a great smell. My skin felt very soft even after first use. No more dry flakes and no need to scrub very hard. Loved it.”
Wait there’s more! I also tried the O Mega Body Oil which is a blend of Jojoba, Argan, Sweet Almond and Safflower Oils. My legs and arms get really dry and gross so I tried putting the body oil there and was amazed that it did not leave me feeling greasy at all. I am normally a bit hesitant with oil because I don’t like being all shiny and slick. This product absorbed right into my skin immediately with no residue. My legs and arms felt really soft and smelled good too.
I got a second opinion from a friend of mine and she felt the same way I did. She said, “This is an excellent moisturizer for my legs. It left my legs soft and supple after first use and each day improved them more”.
Last but not least, I also got to try the Moisturising Shower Cream and I was really surprised to learn that it’s actually a baby cleanser. The folks at Mama Mio wanted to keep it extremely gentle and it won’t strip your skin like a harsh soap. This product is Sodium Laureth Sulfate and Sodium Lauryl Sulfate free which are known irritants that can be found in other cleansers. I prefer to use products that are free of these chemicals on my sensitive skin.
This product was also nice- it smelled good and rinsed off easily. It didn’t dry my skin out as sometimes others soaps can. You can also use it in your bath water as my friend did. She said, “I used this product in my bath water as I very seldom take showers. I used it more as a bubble bath. It made the water very soft with just light bubbles. Also a great smell without drying out the skin”.
