Magnificent Creations Review

I am always telling my two girls how much I love them and how special they are to me. I want them to feel good about themselves and have a strong and healthy self-esteem. When I came across the Magnificent Creations website, I thought to myself “Wow! These products are truly special”. Susan Howson, the creator of Magnificent Creations, kindly offered me a chance to review the Manifest Your Magnificence Cards.

The Manifest Your Magnificence Cards are a set of 64 affirmation cards for kids age 6 to 12 years old. Each card begins with “I am” which is the two most powerful words in the world since whatever we put after them becomes our reality. These cards can be used to remind our kids that they are magnificent creations. Check out these sample cards and you can get a better idea of what I am talking about…
They suggest that the parent can reinforce the power of the affirmation by having the child express how it relates to them by:
  • writing, talking, drawing
  • singing, acting, dancing
  • carrying the card with them as a reminder of who they are
The Manifest Your Magnificence For Kids cards can be purchased directly from the Magnificent Creations website for $25.95 plus shipping and handling.
Susan Howson who is the creator of Magnificent Creations is also a Family and Relationship Systems Coach. Her professional background is quite impressive and I appreciate her commitment towards helping children realize their potential. To learn more about Susan, please click here.
My Review
My first impression of these cards was how pretty they are! They are very high quality and are all glossy and laminated so that they stay strong and durable. I guess they would need to be since kids don’t always have the lightest touch. So big plus right there that they are kiddie proof and made to last.
I like that each one is unique and has writing and illustration on both the front and back. The front will give the affirmation – the I am saying like “I am successful”. Then the back saying will tie into the front like “I achieve the goals I set for myself”. I thought they were beautifully illustrated too.
The big test though was to see how my kids would like them. I have two girls, Olivia who is 10 and Bridget who is 4. I started with Olivia since she fits into the age range recommended for the cards. We sat down and I shuffled the cards and told her to pull a couple. We read them over together and she thought they pretty neat and asked if she could choose more! Bridget loved them too and had fun choosing the cards and then let me read them to her.
For us the easiest time to look at the cards is in the evening since mornings are usually nutso in my house (we are all not morning people!). Each evening before bed the girls would choose their card and look them over. They make them feel good inside about themselves and that is the goal of the cards. I plan to keep using them with both girls and try to incorporate some activities like asking them to draw a picture for me since they both love to draw.
I would definitely recommend these cards and I have been telling people how great they are. Love them!!
Big thanks to Susan Howson at Magnificent Creations for introducing me to the cards and sending me my own set to use with my kids. To get a set for your children or as a gift for someone, visit Magnificent Creations.
