Being a mom is a very rewarding experience. However, it does come with its share of ups and down and it sometimes is really hard work! From mountains of laundry, picking up after the kids, wiping snotty noses to carting kids to various activities, there isn’t much time left for anything else! The two moms who founded LTDchix realized this and started up in 2006 producing alternative and fun wear for families.
They launched “Living the Dream” line of custom t-shirts designed exclusively for moms with a sense of humour. These t-shirts reflect that the chaotic situations that motherhood brings and with a “tongue in cheek” kind of attitude. Each t-shirt shows a mom dealing with the typical crazy situations that most of us have faced one time or another whether it be shopping in a grocery store with a bunch of hyper kids, or the constant cleaning that never seems to end. The LTDchix mom realizes that motherhood isn’t quite what she signed up for, but since she is here now, she will make the best of it.
LTDchix sent me the Lipstick/Light Pink Laundry Mom short sleeved t-shirt for my review. On the front of the t-shirt it shows a stressed out mom trying to hold a mountain of laundry. This t-shirt couldn’t be more perfect for me as I sit here now and type in between loads of laundry! The stuff just never ends!
The t-shirt fit me really nicely and wasn’t too tight or loose. It looks really cute on. I got a Large because they do tend to run small so keep that in mind if you do order one. I normally wear a Medium, but I went up a size just in case and it fit perfect. The t-shirt was 100% cotton and felt really comfortable. I loved the light pink trim it had on all the edges making it look like you are really wearing two shirts.
The short sleeve shirt that I received is $20 which is a good price I think. The prices of all their shirts are really affordable and I would consider buying more of them that I think would suit me. I also like Cleaning Mom, Minivan Mom and Multi-tasking Mom and most of them would suit me just fine.
