I love Billy bookcases! I have 6 tall ones in my office. I wish I had seen some of these built in hacks before, because although I love how the four of them look across one wall (the other two are on adjacent walls), I think they would have looked nicer if I had done more like the blogger who built a platform for the bottom and had wood between each bookcase (the four of mine are together and then there is a few inches of empty space on each end). My bookcases are overflowing with books so I doubt my husband would want to take them all down to do it over anytime soon, but some really great ideas to keep in mind as we do decide to remodel the house.
