Title: Phineas and Ferb: Mission Marvel

My Review:

My children, especially my five year old son love Phineas and Ferb and super heroes so they flipped over the latest Disney DVD release of Phineas and Ferb: Mission Marvel. In this zany and exciting adventures, the worlds will collide as Phineas and Ferb team up with the Marvel Super Heroes including Spider-Man, Iron Man, Thor and Hulk.

This full-length children’s adventure is a big hit with my son, Jacob who was actually role-playing as a character along with the featured show. In Phineas and Ferb: Mission Marvel, Dr. Doofenshmirtz sends a blast from his “Power-Drain-Innator” which hits Phineas and Ferb’s space stating and ricochets off hitting Spider-Man, Iron Man, Thor and Hulk. It is up to Phineas and Ferb to help the Super Heroes restore their super powers before the mean super villains destroy the planet. Helping Phineas and Ferb are fan favorites, Nick Fury and S.H.I.E.L.D along with top agent, Perry the Platypus. Will they be able to divert disaster and help the Marvel Super Heroes restore their powers while saving the earth?

We enjoyed watching this DVD title together as a family and we laughed out loud at the fun antics and zany plotline. I was surprised at how much I enjoyed watching this with my children as it was engaging and very entertaining. Phineas and Ferb: Mission Marvel even includes fun original songs and the kids had a blast singing along with the characters. Jacob loved that it also comes with a free comic book and a collectible pull-out poster that he immediately put on the door to his room.

There is 137 minutes of action and excitement with one fully-length adventure and six additional bonus adventures including Fly on The Wall, Sidetracked, Parts 1 & 2, Primal Perry, Parts 1&2, Backyard Hodge Podge, Knot My Problem and Mind Share.

Phineas and Ferb: Mission Marvel (list price of $19.99) is a must-have DVD title for any young Phineas and Ferb fans and it would make a great holiday gift idea or stocking stuffer. It is currently available for purchase at Disney DVD, major retailers and online too.

Great price, and looks like lots of fun with all the characters. I don’t think this would be up my daughter’s alley, but would make a great Christmas gift for a boy!
