We have quite a few groundhogs around here that we look to every February to give us some hope for relief from these long New York winters. This year the majority of them told us to expect an early spring. I was excited at the thought of better weather on the horizon, however, as I’m writing this review, I’m preparing for a Nor’easter that’s about to dump over a foot of snow here in the suburbs of NY! But I know that winter can’t last forever, and I’m already looking forward to doing some spring cleaning in the weeks to come. Especially now that I have Mrs. Meyer’s latest scented spring cleaning line in my arsenal.
I received three Mrs. Meyer’s Clean Day cleaning products for review in the latest scent added to the line – radish. First of all, I have to say that the radish scent is fantastic. I would describe it as light, crisp and clean, very spring-like. No chemical smell because that’s not what Mrs. Meyer’s is about. The Clean Day line is cruelty-free, aromatherapeutic household cleaners that combine naturally derived ingredients and essential oils that are gentle on the environment but tough on dirt. There’s no ammonia, no parabens, no bleach. All the products are biodegradable and come in recyclable bottles. I love that the products are safe to use around pets and kids. I feel so much better cleaning with products that are good for my home and family. I received three out of four of the radish line of products:
Liquid Dish Soap – this soap is formulated to cut through tough grease, and the best part is it rinses clean with no residue left behind. I liked the gentleness of the soap on my hands.
Liquid Hand Soap – this bottle has taken its rightful spot on top of my sink in the kitchen. It has Aloe Vera and Olive Oil ingredients that are meant to be soothing to hard-working hands. There is no harsh fragrance or moisture-stripping chemicals involved, so it’s a great soap for me since I wash my hands constantly throughout the day.
Countertop Spray – this product combines the formula of the Clean Day All Purpose Cleaner with a vegetable protein extract that naturally removes odors. This is a great product for the bathroom – with a house full of boys I can use all the help I can get! I like the simple nature of this product – just spray and wipe (no rinsing required!).
All three of the products above range from 12.5 – 16 fluid ounces and have a suggested retail price of $3.99. There is also a 32 ounce All Purpose Cleaner available in the radish line with a suggested price of $7.99. They are all available on the Mrs. Meyer’s website as well as in Target stores. What I like the most about these products is that I don’t have to worry about exposing my kids to fumes or harsh chemicals. Having used Mrs. Meyer’s products for years, I know they can get the job done in any home and I highly recommend these products in any scent. I love being able to add the new radish scent line to my cleaning closet.
