A+ TutorSoft, Inc. Interactive MATH Curriculum Review & Giveaway (US & Can)

I home educate my three children ages 5, 6 and 7 and find myself constantly researching the available curriculums and supplemental resources on the market to make sure that we have access to the best programming. We recently had the opportunity to test a computer based math curriculum, A+ TutorSoft, Inc. Interactive MATH and my children used both the new online version and the CD-Software (Windows based).

A+ TutorSoft, Inc. Interactive MATH Curriculum

A+ Interactive MATH Curriculum from A+ TutorSoft, Inc. is a comprehensive multi-sensory math learning program which uses audio, visuals and text. My 2nd grader enjoyed the manner in which the content is presented in each lesson and it teaches to the core concepts necessary for each grade level. I appreciate that each lesson has Interactive Question and Answer section so the student is able to answer questions pertaining to the subject matter taught within the lesson. If a question is answered incorrectly then the program will immediately “re-teach” the concept allowing the student to try again. This method is quite effective for my child because he does not get frustrated when he answers a question incorrectly and instead watches and listens to see what he did wrong and then corrects it.

There are two versions of A+ Interactive MATH Curriculum for you to choose from depending on which one will be the best fit for you and your students including a web based curriculum and CD software.

The new online version can be accessed anywhere that there is high speed internet so this is an excellent option for home use, library use or while traveling. I like that there are no worries about having to install software and there is immediate access to the math program. You will have access to templates to create worksheets and exams for the student and progress reports and allows the student to track their progress (my 2nd grader loves this feature and proudly shows me his accomplishments). For parents, it offers instant online grading (excellent feature), recommended lesson plans, a math placement test. I find the progress reports to be most useful as a tool for me to be able to address my children’s strengths and weaknesses.

I find the online version to be very comprehensive, user friendly and affordable. You can purchase the A+ Interactive MATH online curriculum (grade levels 1-7 and Algebra) monthly for only $19.95, quarterly for $49.99 or annually for $124.99.

We also like using the CD software which is also very user friendly and provides the same features as I mentioned in the web-based curriculum. I appreciate that this math program is an excellent blend of student independent learning and parental involvement to maximize the learning experience. I also want to note that one of the benefits of using the A+ Interactive MATH program is that it is self-paced and students and parents are able to print free practice sheets for additional work offline. If your student likes to read through a lesson you have the option of an eBook format curriculum book. Each grade level specific math curriculum from A+ TutorSoft, Inc. provides an affordable, comprehensive math program that is designed to help the student become more confident and proficient with necessary math skills. The A+ Interactive MATH Full Curriculum CD software is available for purchase from $99.99-$124.99.

Overall, I am very pleased with the quality and content included with both the new online version and the CD-Software from A+ TutorSoft, Inc. I will continue to use this math curriculum with all three of my students and look forward to discovering new features on our homeschooling journey!
