I am an animal welfare activist in the fight against Breed Specific Legislation. I like that this book explores “Burrufu’s deep layers: a touch of melancholy, a tender heart and a resigned understanding that the larger world will never ‘see past what I look like’. It sounds like a great book to teach that we should all look beyond appearances.
