It is amazing how a simple plush toy can provide so much joy and comfort to a young child. Lamby Lambpants is an adorable plush toy lamb wearing blue cuffed jean pants. Lamby doesn’t let a deformity get him down due to an accident with the family dog and he wear a bottle cap to cover his missing eye. My four year old son has major arm scarring following a severe burn accident and he was immediately drawn to Lamby Lambpants promising, “I will take care of you forever little guy”.
In addition to spending time playing with his “friend”, Lamby has given him so much comfort as Jacob is coping with the recent loss of his beloved “Pops” who also wore an eye patch. One evening I heard Jacob talking privately to Lamby telling him all about his “Pops” and how he misses him very much. Jacob had been very quiet up until that point about his feelings but was able to open up to his Lamby.
I also love the fact that Love & Fleece, LLC will give one Lamby to a sick or needy child for every Lamby sold. I can only imagine the joy that this gives to those children at a time that they need a friend the most.
Lamby loves to be joyful and there is a free online world and Facebook page that the child can explore complete with sing-alongs and words of wisdom from Lamby such as “spread the happy, not the cranky”. Lamby helps children understand that it is okay to be different and to not look the same.

What I like and learned is when you buy one they will give one to a sick or needy child. I like the badge over Lamby’s eye for courage to give strength to a child.
