My husband and I are always looking to try new sauces in our recipes and we were glad to have the opportunity to review Fischer & Wieser’s Spicy Sesame Stir Fry & Dipping Sauce.
When we received the bottle in the mail, we opened it up to taste what was in store for us. The sauce had a tangy little kick that we both enjoyed. We were impressed with the texture of the sauce and the abundance of sesame seeds. We decided to try it out on a simple and easy chicken vegetable stir fry. The sauce poured easily and sautéed nicely with the chicken and veggies that were already cooking in the wok. The end result was a tasty healthy meal. Don’t be scared by the word spicy in the product description – the kick of the sauce is tangy and sweet, with just a little hint of heat.
I’m excited to try this sauce next summer when we grill – I think it would be fabulous with salmon and steak. I also think it would work great as a dip for cold shrimp as well – such a change from your standard cocktail sauce!
