This week’s theme is Red. I took pictures of a tree in our yard with red buds. I have no idea what kind of tree it is but it’s a pretty one.

The Red
I love your photos! That color is just gorgeous against the white snow. I couldn’t even find anything that vibrant all the way down here in North Carolina. Very nice job!

The photos look amazing. I have always wanted to learn how to photograph properly as has my husband. I actually won a very nice camera a few weeks back but haven’t been brave enough to try it out. It may as well be a cockpit for all of the part and buttons etc. Great idea though to have a theme of a colour or whatever the theme may be. Thanks for the post, perhaps now I should just get the heck out there and take some photos…
Great picture, Stacie. Everything about it screams winter. Living in the south of Texas we don’t have winter. In fact right now the temperature is in the mid 70′s, and my pasture thinks it is Spring!

Beautiful colors. I have some rose hips hanging on in our backyard. It’s so nice to glimpse that bright red in a very drab time of year!
Very pretty! It looks like they may be rose hips. I have some of those in my back yard, why didn’t I think to use them for my red photo?
