I’m no stranger to stress. In fact, I have to manage it daily if not hourly. I have chronic pain that is excaberated by stress so if I let it get to me, it can and will push me into a pain flare. There’s days where its an uphill battle depending on what’s going on in my life. I work on managing both internal stressors and external stressors and have developed various coping mechanisms throughout the years. I’m learning what works for me and what doesn’t.
I’m not alone either. Many people fight stress every day and in fact, over 75% of doctor’s visits are for stress-related complaints and illnesses! I doubt our lives could truly be stress free, but there’s ways to manage it and not let it get the best of you. I recently was sent a package of C3* for Stress to try and I love the quote on the front of the package:
Stress isn’t a choice. How you deal with it is.
That quote really resonates with me and I totally think its your attitude and what you do about it that makes all the difference!
C3* for Stress is all-natural, lemon-lime flavoured drink mix of botanicals, vitamins and minerals that aid your body in relieving the symptoms of stress and making you feel cool, calm and connected. It comes packaged in individual packages that you add to 4 to 6 oz. glass of water that you can take at any time of day. It works in about 15 to 20 minutes and contains no stimulants or sedatives so it won’t make you fall asleep. I liked that it is only 15 calories and has no sugar or artificial sweeteners. It was developed by the same entrepreneurs behind Elixir Teas & Tonics.
I tried it this past week and liked the fizzy, lemon-lime taste. It tastes better with a few ice cubes added in. I like my drinks cold. I did feel calmer after drinking it and more focused on what I needed to do rather than worrying about all that still left on my to-do list. I’d actually like to try it on a night I have insomnia when my mind when shut off. You know the nights where you sit up thinking about everything that you need to do and can’t sleep? I have those types of nights a few times a month and then end up feeling so tired in the morning because I didn’t get enough sleep.
C3* for Stress is free for new customers right now. Just pay the shipping and handling of $4.95 and they will send you a 5-pack sample to try out. If you like it, you can purchase more on their website. The 5-Pack retails for $8.95 and the 15-Pack retails for $19.95.
