I don’t know about everyone else, but I am super excited for The Avengers, which opens in theatres on May 4th, 2012 and was written and directed by one of my own favorites, Joss Whedon!
In celebration of the film, Marvel Studios has arranged for a really cool Global Twitter Chat to take place on January 31, 2012 at 11 a.m. (PST). The twitter chat will last for 30 minutes and participants include Joss Whedon and actors Tom Hiddleston (Loki) and Clark Gregg (Agent Phil Coulson).
To get the chance to ask any Avengers questions you might have during the twitter chat, follow @Avengers on Twitter and keep up with everything in real time by following the hash tag #Avengers. International fans can also participate; Ortsbo.com is providing a translation technology, and Marvel’s @Agent_m will be moderating. Join in on the fun to see a tease of The Avengers’ Super Bowl spot and to answer trivia to win some awesome Avengers prizes!
The Avengers is the ultimate Super Hero team, consisting of Captain America, Hawkeye, Black Widow, Thor, The Incredible Hulk, and Iron Man. NickFury, the director of the national peacekeeping agency called S.H.I.E.L.D. will need all of their help to prevent an emergency that will threaten the entire globe’s safety and security.
