When I get a headache, it always comes with other symptoms including nausea and neck pain. The neck pain only adds to my discomfort and some days its hard to even stand being in my own skin. However, I have a few things that help ease the pain and one of those remedies is Stopain. I’ve been using the Stopain Extra Strength Roll On for a few months now and just recently started using the new Stopain Gel. Let me tell you they make a difference in relieving some of the pain so I can at least get on with my day.
Stopain is a topical pain reliever used for temporary relief of minor pains and stiffness of arthritis, muscle aches, strains and backaches. It contains menthol as the active ingredient as well as peppermint oil (to relax muscles) and eucalyptus oil (to improve muscles). It is available in four formulations: Stopain Spray, Stopain Extra Strength Spray, Stopain Extra Strength Roll-on and Stopain Gel.
The Stopain Cold Gel is a 2.5 oz tube that works instantly to soothe sore muscles. I’ve been using it on the back of neck right up to the base of my skull. I like that its not greasy and doesn’t stain if you get some on your shirt. As soon as I apply it I can feel it working on relaxing my neck muscles or at least relieving the discomfort so I don’t notice it as much. The effects last for a couple hours before I need to apply more. The directions say to not apply it more than 4 times a day though.
Stopain is available nationally at Walgreens, Wal-Mart, CVS, Meijer, Rite-Aid, independent pharmacies and online at Stopain. In Canada, Stopain can be purchased at Zellers or Shopper’s Drug Mart. They are also a sponsor of the Arthritis Foundation and donate a portion of the proceeds of every product sold to the foundation.
