My Review:
I thought this was a pretty cool concept and definitely fitting for the holidays as well as the cold winter months. We played the Christmas music option of the DVD during Christmas, but it was more for ambiance. I guess you could sit down and watch it straight through because they do have more than just a fire with the fireworks, bright colours and Disney characters. For us, I preferred it to be playing in the background while we celebrate and open gifts.
There’s two options you can choose from: Christmas music and Sound Effects. I do love Christmas music, but found the sound effects to be so relaxing! It reminded me of sitting in front of a fire and if I closed my eyes, I could even picture myself camping by the fire. We don’t have a fireplace and I sure miss it. A DVD like this is the next best thing.
I think I will save the Christmas songs for just this time of year, but the fire sound effects can be enjoyed year round.

. It really is an eye sore and sticks out from the side of one wall.
My home doesn’t have a real fireplace. I have a faux wood stove that puts out head and has a lovely glow, but no crackle like a fire has. Ahhhhh…now I’m thinking of way back when as a little girl when where I lived had a fireplace. Toasty!

Although I would LOVE a real fireplace, we only have an electric one (that doesn’t work actually). We keep it around for the kid’s stockings on christmas LOL.
