About the Book:
CAN YOU SEE WHAT I SEE? TOYLAND EXPRESS, the eighth title in the bestselling search-and-find series, follows the life of a toy train from the workshop to the attic, only to be rescued at a yard sale and brought to life once again in a new home. As readers search for more than 250 hidden objects, they will also notice how the train takes on various transformations along its journey.
My Review:
My children are huge fans of the CAN YOU SEE WHAT I SEE? Scholastic book series by Walter Wick. This newest release, Toyland Express combines vivid pictures and puzzles in an interactive and engaging holiday book for children of all ages. The 3-D stages that are set by Walter Wick are captivating and quite impressive. My children have spent hours reading through the pages of this book as they search for the “3 skiers, a snowy owl, a fresh-cut tree” and more in the “Mountain Pass”. My favorite is the “In For Repairs” picture puzzle and my children particularly enjoy “Toyland”. It is a charming and endearing book that celebrates toys and it is sure to be treasured by my children for many more Christmas seasons. This hardcover edition would be an excellent gift idea, especially for children who are fans of the I Spy or CAN YOU SEE WHAT I SEE? books series.
