This digital control blender is built to perform and uses 750 watts of “Cyclonic Power™” (475 standard watts) to maximize its ability to crush ice, blend smoothies, make salsa etc. It even has a 60 second digital countdown timer for use while blending. I appreciate that it is built using a 48 ounce heat-resistant glass blending jar because it makes it easier than ever for me to puree vegetables for soup. I recently used this blender to puree roasted pumpkin to make most delicious cream of pumpkin soup and it effortlessly blended the pumpkin into a smooth base for my soup.
The multi-level stainless steel blades along with the ice-crush feature were perfect for blending smoothies and mixed drinks. This blender has four speeds plus a pulse option and it is very user friendly. I also like that it has a unique 1 ounce measuring cup stored inside the lid and it has come in handy for me whenever I use this blender. My favorite feature is the design and “no-fuss” surface cleaning which is also dishwasher safe and has removable parts. A few months ago, I had purchased a very expensive blender from another brand that is extremely difficult to clean and food/liquid particles get stuck under the handle and lid. In fact, it has become so difficult to clean that I have decided to replace it with the Black & Decker blender which works just as well as it does and is easy to clean at a fraction of the cost that I paid for the other useless blender.
