P-Touch Labeller Review & Giveaway (Can)

For the past few weeks, I’ve been busy using my new “toy”, the P-Touch Labeller from Brother Canada! I say it’s my new toy because I had so much fun using it. John and I have a movie room in our home that is filled with over 2500 VHS movies. We have shelving covering every wall and all the movies are organized into either genre (like horror) or by actor. John knows where everything is because he’s the one who set it up, but I always have trouble finding the movie I want to watch. So with the help of the P-Touch Labeller, we spent the last few weeks labelling the shelves in the movie room!

First let me tell you a bit about the P-Touch Labeller. It is a compact, handheld labeler that uses acid-free adhesive labels to help you make captions quickly and neatly for all your scrapbooking projects. It also uses standard “TZ” laminated tapes, which come in a variety of tape colors, tape widths and adhesive types.  It prints up to two lines of text and has 72 built-in symbols. I had fun playing around trying different fonts and sizes. The labeller is so darn cute too in pink and green.

It was very easy to get started. I just inserted the 6 AAA batteries and the tape and pressed on and was ready to go. They say it’s ideal for scrapbooking, but it can also be used for other things in your household like labelling your kid’s school supplies, kitchen spices, craft supplies, or tools. It’s really a multi-purpose tool that will get lots of use in the home.

It’s very simple to use. You literally just type in what you want and press print. It doesn’t get any easier than that. I love how organized our movie room looks now. All the sections are now easy to find so if I’m looking for a Tom Cruise movie, I can quickly find one. I used the Bold-Italic font for all my labels.

The P-Touch Labeller is $49.99 and can be purchased online at the Brother Canada website. This is one of my favourite products that I have reviewed this year. I can’t wait to tackle my kitchen….
