Softsoap Review

I’ve always preferred using a body wash over a bar soap, but had no idea until I visited the Colgate website that it’s actually better for your skin. Body washes are more mild, and are better at retaining your skin’s moisture than the bar soap. I also prefer using a pouf with any type of body cleanser, and body washes are less messy to clean up after than a bar soap, which can leave soap residue on the shelves in my shower.

This is one of the reasons I was so excited to try a new product from Softsoap® Brand. Growing up, I remember always using Colgate toothpaste, and wasn’t aware that Softsoap® Brand was part of their products until I went searching for the website. Since Colgate is a brand I trust, I know that I can trust Softsoap® Brand, too.

I was sent a full-size bottle of Body Butter Strawberry Smoother, and I couldn’t be more happy with it. I constantly find myself selecting a new brand of body wash every time I run out, but I am so pleased with the results of the Body Butter Strawberry Smoother that I will definitely be replacing my soon to be empty bottle with a brand new bottle of the same product.

The Body Butter Strawberry Smoother is more than just a cleanser–it also contains small beads that exfoliate the skin. I live in Utah, so I am constantly dealing with dry skin and nothing seems to work. I noticed after the first day of using the Body Butter Strawberry Smoother that my skin was staying soft and silky all day long. I love the scent of strawberries, and think the Body Butter Strawberry Smoother works beautifully with my Victoria’s Secret Strawberries and Champagne lotion. Any time I paired up the Victoria’s Secret body wash and matching lotion, the scent always seemed to fade away just as soon as I used it. For whatever reason, the Body Butter Strawberry Smoother has made the scent stay on my skin all day long. I don’t even need to use a strawberry-scented body spray on top of the Softsoap® Brand body wash and Victoria’s Secret lotion.

Softsoap® Brand product can be purchased at retailers such as Wal-mart, Target, Rite-Aid, CVS, and Walgreens to name just a few. Trusted websites such as Amazon.com and drugstore.com also sell the Body Butter wash. This is a luxury that you CAN afford! The new Body Butter line is available in a store near you beginning August of 2011.
