Lite Sprites Review

My four year old daughter travels every day to the magical world of Lite Topia. She absolutely adores playing with her new Lite Sprites™ toys which have captured her imagination and encouraged hours of interactive play. Even her six year old and three year old brothers beg her to let them play along too.

Lite Sprites™ use color and light to express their mood and feelings. To explore the wonderful and enchanted world of Lite Topia my daughter uses her Lite Wand which comes with Prisma, a doll who is the leader of the Lite Sprites. The Lite Wand is a lot of fun to play with and it features magical colors and light displays. My children’s eyes lit up with amazement when they discovered that the Lite Wand can actually “share” colors with Prisma, capture color from your world and share it, receive color from another Lite Wand and send spells to other Sprites and playsets.

The Lite Wand also includes extra features to make it even more fun including settings to play built in games such as “Color Hunt” (a favorite in our home) and “Color Mix”. My daughter loves to “send” colorful lights from the Lite Wand to her favorite Sprite, Prisma who is included with the Lite Wand playset. Prisma lives in her hanging forest pod home and she includes 10 built-in “favorite” colors.

Prisma loves to spend time with her Sprite friends including Astra, Brooke and Meadow. Astra (just like my daughter, Hannah) is the dreamer who loves to sparkle, Brooke loves the water and Meadow loves plants and flowers while sometimes playing funny pranks on her friends. Watch out for the naughty Sprite, Bleak who does not like color and tries to use her magical powers to remove color from Lite Topia. My daughter’s goal is to “be nice” to Bleak so that she can join the Sprites or else she will be “forced to banish her from Lite-Topia.”

The world of Lite Topia also includes fun additional deluxe playsets such as the beautiful Tree of Life, a Swing, Windmill, Waterfall and Flower. The Tree of Life is a wonderful toy that is just bursting with pretty colors, lights, sparkle and sounds. My daughter invited over her older neighbor friend, age 7 and they played with the Tree of Life, Sprites and other playsets for two hours of uninterrupted fun. I loved sitting outside her playroom door and listening to the girls using their imaginations and create fun scenarios for their Sprites dolls. There are a lot of fun features that my children figured out on their own and actually shared with me such as the working “kid-powered” elevator and a spinning canopy that shares colors with the Sprites and other playsets. You can even hang your Sprites forest pods on the Tree of Life too.

What special world would be complete without adorable pets? Like every girl, the Sprites have fun collectible Lite Pets that live with them in Lite Topia. Each set has four pets and it includes their log home too. My daughter particularly loves playing with her set of Lite Pets and there are 21 one pets in all that live in Lite Topia to add to her collection.

Overall, I am very impressed with Lite Sprites™ by WowWee toys. It is such an interactive and “magical” world that is sure to be a hit with young girls (and boys). When I asked Hannah how she felt about the Lite-Sprites™ she said, “I love them because they are beautiful and full of color. I love the color-changing wand and it is so much fun to play with it every day.” I appreciate that this fun world is bright, colorful and engaging. The toys are high quality and even I continue to be amazed every time the Lite Wand is able to “pick up” a color from an object in the room…yes, it really does work!

If you are searching for a fantastic gift idea that will dazzle your favorite young girl then I highly recommend Lite Sprites™ and all of the fun accessories. You can purchase the Lite Sprites™ Lite Wand and Prisma, additional Lite Sprites™, Lite Sprites Deluxe™ Playsets, Lite Sprites™ Tree of Life and Lite Pets at Target, Walmart, Kmart, Sears and Amazon.com.

You are invited to visit the Lite Sprites™ website to learn more and even play the “Butterfly’s Flower Hunt” game for free.
