More and more, I find myself drawn to handmade items. I like knowing that what I buy is unique and I also like knowing that I am supporting someone’s artistic vision. I was very excited to review Beanie Designs, a company specializing in handmade baby hats and head pieces. The company was started by a husband and wife who love crocheting and wanted to support their family and share their one of a kind creations with other families. The hat I chose for my son is the Organic Cotton Ear Flap Hat in navy blue and baby blue. The hat has an adorable pom pom on top and is made from the softest cotton. The knit is perfect and feels strong and durable. The hat conforms nicely to my son’s head and he has plenty of room to grow into it. The colors are exactly as depicted on the website and provide a nice contrast to each other. I really like how this looks like something a family member would lovingly knit for your child, as opposed to a mass produced item. The quality is outstanding. These are wonderful baby winter hats.

I am glad you had good experience with their customer service, but unfortunately, mine was nothing but horrible! I received a hat and it was too large so I sent it in for a replacement. It arrived in their facility and then when I contacted them 8 days after my tracking number said it was delivered, (5 attempts to speak to a customer service rep later and getting nobody but an operator) I emailed them and got an email back saying that they haven’t received the hat yet, but would process it as soon as they got it. Then I told them about my tracking number and then all of a sudden the hat was being processed for an exchange. So I called them so speak to a supervisor and could not reach one for several attempts, operator just kept taking messages and said they would surely call back.
17 days after I sent the hat back and a replacement is still not on its way yet
