Back to School Bash | The Adventures of Scuba Jack Review

About the DVD:

Scuba Jack is back in his latest adventure, Coastline Critters! Join Scuba Jack and Professor Galax down at the beach where you’ll learn about the different critters that live along the coastline. Tag along as they pay a visit to Miss Wendy at the Seacoast Science Center in Rye, NH and learn more about hermit crabs, sea stars, dog whelks, sea urchins and horseshoe crabs. Count sunken treasure with the help of Carl and Larry and watch as puzzle pieces magically come together as you try and figure out the picture. Learn how to say colors in Spanish as you count tasty fish with Paco the pelican. Even Captain Joe is back, and he will help you guess the months of the year by dressing up in funny costumes. There is so much fun waiting for you in Coastline Critters!

My Review:

My children are HUGE fans of The Adventures of Scuba Jack series of educational DVD’s, learning activities and workbooks so they were really excited to view Coastline Critters. This preschool learning adventure transported my children to the sea and really captured their imaginations. The DVD is so much fun and my children were captivated as they learned about their favorite sea creatures along with beloved characters like Scuba Jack, Professor Galax and Miss Wendy. The Adventures of Scuba Jack series is engaging and inspirational and my children actually beg to do the accompanying learning activities (up to 20 accompanying pages of FREE activities!) that you can download with each DVD. I have found that the DVD’s are the perfect length at around 30 minutes to keep young children interested and then ready for a follow up discussion and fun activity. If you are looking for a creative and interesting virtual preschool resource then The Adventures of Scuba Jack series is a wonderful option for home schools, rainy day activities, preschools and everyday learning for young children.

The Adventures of Scuba Jack also has a great selection of workbooks that are so creative and unique from any others that we use in our home school curriculum. A great alternative to standard coloring books, my children are able to practice writing, counting and thinking skills as they cut and glue themed activities from books such as The Ocean, Dinosaurs, Fairies, Pirates, The Rainforest and many more. The books are made of high quality paper and are affordably priced at only $4.95 each so it is a great way to supplement your preschool program without breaking the budget.

Help your little ones learn to love the sea and all of its amazing creatures with The Adventures of Scuba Jack learning series. You are invited to visit their website and all of the DVD’s and Activity Books are available for purchase with product downloads available for purchase coming soon. I have been using DVD’s and books from The Adventures of Scuba Jack in my 3, 4 and 6 year old children’s preschool and kindergarten curriculum for almost a year and it remains one of our favorite resources. I highly recommend The Adventures of Scuba Jack and all of the learning activities which are not only educational but fun too!
