Back to School Bash | Ship Shapes Review

Toddlers ages 1-4 can spot the shapes on top of rolling waves and on sandy shores. This sea-based early learning selection features rhyme and repetition, as well as a full page summarizing the shapes for reinforced learning.

My Review:

My three year old son absolutely adores this board book that explodes with a wonderful array of shapes and colors. Written by Stella Blackstone and illustrated by Siobhan Bell this book is the perfect size for little hands and is very engaging with questions such as “ What are the shapes of these small fish?” My son was beaming with confidence as he was able to correctly name the right shapes. From circles and squares to semi-circles and crescents, this book is an excellent way to introduce and reinforce shapes with younger children. This book is so unique in that I was able to come up with my own question and games to make it even more fun. This is a wonderful and effective educational resource for parents, educators and child care centers.

Ship Shapes is available for purchase for only $6.99 from Barefoot Books!
