About the Game:
Inspired by the popular sing along title If You’re Happy and You Know It!, this memory game utilizes one of the greatest attributes of the book—the adorable children from all over the world—to encourage memory and matching skills. The object of the game is to match the boy and girl pairs according to the traditional dress, country name and color featured on each card.
My Review:
Bonjour! My family and I absolutely love our collection of Barefoot Books so we were delighted to discover that there is a line of games, puzzles, puppets and more. I love to play educational games with my children and we had so much fun putting our memories (mine included) to the test with the Children of the World Memory Game as we tried to match a boy and girl from each country. We even learned how to say “hello” in 36 languages. The bright, vivid colors are visually engaging and the sturdy pieces are well made for lots of game play. My little ones were fascinated by the children of other cultures in this game so much that we pulled out some of our favorite Barefoot Books stories that celebrate children from around the world.
The Children of the World Memory Game is available for purchase for only $11.99 at the Barefoot Books online shop. This is wonderful game for preschoolers and young elementary school children to play and learn valuable memory and matching skills. It is very affordably priced and is attractively boxed so it would make an excellent creative gift idea.
