It’s summertime and we all know that means a lot of shaving to keep our legs looking presentable in public. I have never had to worry too much about this since I have been blessed with barely visible slow growing hair on my legs. But I know women who have to be a slave to the razor every day. Some women even have to go to the extreme of shaving their arms because of the amount of unwanted arm hair they have. For these women, listen up! You are going to love these VEET products.
I tried using both Easy Grip Wax Strips and the Hair Removal Cream. With the Easy Grip Wax Strips, personally, I think you need to let the hair grow out a bit to have success. The nice thing about these strips is there is no waiting time. You warm them up in your hands and the strips are ready to go. Since I did not have enough growth, I made my 16 year old son be my guinea pig. We did a small section of his leg and in just a matter of seconds we got a nice clear surface on his leg. He said it hurt a bit, but became numb pretty quick and that was that.
The Hair Removal Cream works great. The smell is one thing you have to put up with for the luxury of silky smooth legs. After applying the cream you do have to wait and this being my first time, I thought that was bit annoying. However if 5 minutes equates to many days of not needing to shave, if I needed to shave every day, the wait would be well worth it. I had to wait about 6 minutes and some areas I waited too long. The product dried and I was not able to get it off with the spatula, oops.
A couple of benefits to point out about the cream- I did not get any razor burns from the dull blade I am usually left with, thanks to a big family, and no nicks around my ankles or knees. When I was drying my leg off I noticed a couple of tiny stray hairs around my ankles, but all I did was go over it with my towel and they came right off.
All in all, I was very happy with the VEET products. This was my first time using anything like this. Although I am not the type of person who needs this kind of product, I know that there are many women out there who could use this and be happy with the results and how long their silky smooth legs will last.

I currently use VEET and I love using it. It leaves my legs smooth much longer than shaving.
The worst hair removal was when I shaved the day before going to the beach. The next day, the saltwater stung my legs and I hurt so bad. I normally use razors to shave, but this VEET sounds amazing!
I’ve also been blessed with invisible leg hair – everyone’s jealous, I only have to shave maybe once a month. My daughter, however, isn’t so lucky! I would love to win this for her. Poor thing has been begging for some kind of hair removal.

My horror story involves the first time I ever tried to shave my legs. I was 12 years old and my Mom didn’t know what I was doing, I just went into the bathroom and took my brother’s razor and shaved. My legs were so cut up, especially around my knees, because I didn’t know what I was doing.
I tried NADS and it was the worst experience because it did not pull any hair out – (emscout9 at Hotmail dot com)
Worst hair removal story was when I tried Nair – I broke out in a crazy red burning rash
Would love to win!
I normally shave…EVERY SINGLE GO**AMN DAY.
i usually use veet or sally hansen(on?).
thanks!!
I shave every day for hair removal.
I shave everyday

I’ve used NAIR before…As I was spraying on the Nair hair removal trying to rid my arm hair, my brother yells from across the house, “OMG SOMETHING IS BURNING!!!!!” I stood there in embarrassment, because the smell was coming from me. UGH AWFUL! Please, I would love to try Veet! I can’t usually afford it. Thank you so much.
I normally use Veet
I went to a spa once to get a binkini wax. I had never felt so exposed in my life
I had never had a binkini wax before and my mom and sisters talked us into all going about 6 years ago. I screamed like a little girl and have never went back
I use a razor to remove unwanted hair but have always wanted to try waxing.
Thank you.
I normally just shave my legs & underarms with a razor!
i usually wax

One time, I tried using Nair on my face before school pictures were taken back in high school… let’s just say that Nair had a “scorched Earth” policy and applied it to my face.
I hate going to get my eyebrows waxed. One occasion when the women was trying to get some strays with tweezers she caught my skin! OUCH!!!
I used those nads hair removing wax strips and gave myself so many ingrown hairs for months.
i use razors and i don’t enjoy it. i have been looking forward to trying Veet in the future..thanks!
I do not have any hair removal horror stories. At this time I use just the normal razor and shaving cream for hair removal. reejen at comcast dot net
One day I was shaving using a disposable razor at work (9 years ago) before I went out with my friends and I cut my leg wide open! I was bleeding profusely and only had capris to wear out that night. Thank God my capris were white and so was the gauze my friends had to buy for my knee so it blended in!
I have am Happy to say no horror stories, I guess the older I get the less hairs…or maybe that is a horror story…the ageing and all lol
When I was a young teenager…like 15…I had the bright idea to wax my eyebrows instead of plucking. It never occurred to me to cut the sheet to match my arch?!? I tried to line up the edge and remove it little by little, but ended up removing a rather large chunk :O
It looked pretty silly for a while with half my eyebrow missing…Bad part is that it never fully grew back and it’s pretty obvious
I don’t really have any horror stories. I just shave with gel and plain ‘ol disposable razors.
One time I went to get my eyebrows waxed and the stylist put boiling hot wax on my skin and it burned my skin. it was not fun.
I usually use a plain ole razor for hair removal, with my eye brows I use tweezers.

The worst horror story I have is that mostly everytime I shave my legs I usually get razor burn and it sucks because in the summer time I like to wear shorts and skirts but I dont if I have cuts. But the VEET sounds amazing!
I haven’t really had a horro story but since I use razors I have had nicks and cuts to my legs and underarms many times
The last time that I waxed my eyebrows I used prewax strips that you warm between your palms. They were easy to apply but when I went to remove them they also removed all of the skin beneath my eyebrow. Leaving a horrible scab for weeks.

i usually shave or use a cream hair remover
I don’t have a hair removal nightmare – thank goodness!
normally i shave
I usually shave
I have been thinking about switching from shaving to using a cream remover.
I’m old-school I just just a razor and soap and water. The old removers I’ve used in the past just didn’t do the trick.

When I was 17, I was shaving my lefts in the bathtub with a razor and slipped and cut my leg realllllly bad.
sklyn@mediacombb.net
I usually just use a razor.
I use a razor. But waxing sure does seem much better.
I use a razor but would love weeks without worrying about hair!
I use a razor far all parts, except my eye brows. The only horror story I have about that is the lady that did ny eyebrows 3 hours before my sister’s wedding had the wax too hot an burnt me. Most of the redness was covered up by make up, but I am sure people were wondering why I kept putting my cold glass up to my eyes all night.
I use razors and body wash.
