Oransi v-HEPA Max Purifier Review

My daughter has severe asthma and her pediatric pulmonologist recommended that we use a high quality air purifier in our home. I have been very pleased with the performance of the Oransi Fridge Air Purifier so I was thrilled to try the new v-HEPA MAX Air Purifier.

The Oransi v-HEPA Max purifier provides protection against:

Dust

According to Oransi this model is able to effectively remove “up to 98% of particles with each pass” through the filter system. I love that this model is user friendly and it took very little time for me to learn how to use the control features. This unit is only 8 inches deep so it takes up little space. I placed it flat against the living room wall and the stylish design blends in well with our décor. Another excellent feature is that it is “the quietest unit on the market.” My husband and I were initially skeptical because we have a smaller air purifier made by another brand that is extremely loud and disruptive when in use. I am pleased to report that the v-HEPA MAX Air Purifier is indeed really quiet even on the highest speeds.

With our previous air purifier we had to constantly purchase new air filters which became very expensive. The v-HEPA MAX Air Purifier comes with a complete set of air filters and has been designed by Oransi to make the filters bigger and have better seals. This allows up to 12 months of continuous use before I would need to replace the filters ultimately saving us money. The pre-filters are washable and can also be lightly dusted every 3 months and then reused. I am also impressed that the v-HEPA MAX Air Purifier also exceeds the Energy Star standards.

Pre Filter: The air first enters washable pre-filter, capturing the largest particles, which enhances the durability and performance of the other filters.

High-Efficiency v-HEPA Filter. The most effective type of air filter at capturing dust, allergens and other solid particles (including bacteria). Effectively removes up to 99% of airborne pollutant particles that pass through the system. This includes contaminant particles such as pollen, bacteria, dust mites, viruses, smoke, and other airborne impurities as small as 0.3 micron. Unique low air flow resistance technology makes air purifier more powerful and effective.

Activated Carbon Filter. The best type of air filter for trapping chemicals, gases, odors and cigarette smoke. We’ve doubled the size of the carbon filter making it the best in class of air purifiers. According to Penn State Dept. of Aero-biological researchers, carbon filters serve to remove odors, volatile organic compounds (VOCs) and chemicals that other filters cannot.

Anion. The nano piezo-electric ions makes your room more like a natural environment. A Journal of Hygiene study found negative ions to improve efficiency of filter units and multiple studies (including those by the U.S. Dept. of Agriculture) have found to be highly effective against dust, bacteria, etc.

My favorite feature of this model is the Intelligent Air Quality Monitor which lets me know with a visual indicator whether the current air quality is “Excellent, Very Good, Good, Standard or Poor.”

I am extremely pleased with the Oransi v-HEPA MAX Air Purifier as it gives me confidence that I am using an air purifier in our home that provides my family with better air quality. It is affordable for the high performance and effectiveness in regards to other units that I have compared it too on the market as well.
