Comprehensive Guide on How to Move from Blogger to WordPress

How to Move from Blogger to WordPress is a comprehensive guide that tells you step by step everything you need to do to move over to WordPress yourself without losing your back-links, followers, domain name, or Page Rank. You will be guided through the entire process, step by step, clearly explaining exactly what you need to do, when you need to do it, and why.

Here’s a little of what you can expect in the book:

  • Creating a Hosting Account
  • Installing WordPress
  • How to Install a New Theme
  • How to Install a Plugin
  • How to Import Your Content from Blogger
  • How to Maintain Your Blogger Permalinks
  • How to Update Your Nameservers
  • How to Update Feedburner to Pull from WordPress
  • Transfer your Google Friend Connect Widget and Feed

I purchased the book even though I already am on WordPress. I was curious just to see how it was done and I was impressed with how thorough it is. It’s also written in plain English with lots of screenshots.

The cost is $35, but if you use the coupon code time4wp you will save 20%. Then the cost is $28 which is well worth it in my opinion. The book is 96 pages long.

I previously got a book google blogger for dummies. I have decided that I want to go to WordPress. My blog is in the process of being converted and I cannot wait. Blogger has had so many issues this week! I know WordPress probably isn’t perfect either, but it seems like there is so much for that you can do in WordPress.
