Udder Covers Review
I never knew or heard about nursing covers until I was looking for sponsors for our Baby event earlier this year. Sure I had seen people pull blankets up or tie them around their necks for privacy but they were just blankets that were not designed for easy breastfeeding. I wish I had had a nursing cover for my nosey nurser and I really think I might have lasted past the 3 month nursing mark had I had a cover that was actually meant to be a cover.
Udder Covers have come up with their own Nursing Cover for Breastfeeding moms. With the rigid neckline you can actually see what you are doing and not have to fumble around to get your baby on your breast. It even gives you direct eye contact which is nice and something you miss out on with a normal blanket.
I really love the patterns you can choose. I received the Carson pattern which I found very chic as did the Breastfeeding mom I handed it over to for testing. It is 100% breathable cotton so your little one will stay cool under there until they are done nursing and it can be machine washed on gentle which is music to a mothers ear. The nursing covers currently come in 6 patterns and are only $32. These would make a wonderful gift for a shower or new Mommy learning the tricks of the trade of breastfeeding. They also have gift sets available that would make your gift even more special. This 3 piece kit includes a nursing cover, milk bands nursing bracelet and 2 pairs of Udder Covers washable nursing pads. They are on sale now for $37.
