I think I may have just died and went to brownie heaven!

Ruth’s Brownie Kitchen has the most delicious Caramel Swirl Cake Style Brownies that I have ever tasted. These brownies are huge…. just one brownie satisfied my three children and there was even some left over for mom, who am I to turn it down right? In fact, the Caramel Swirl Cake Style Brownies are each 3” by 3” and weigh nearly five ounces. The taste is sensational…..a perfect swirl of caramel mixed in with the rich and delicious Valhrona chocolate batter. What I really like is that the taste is so rich that you don’t have to eat a lot to be satisfied. In my opinion that is what truly makes Ruth’s Brownies a gourmet baked goods specialty.

Ruth’s Brownie Kitchen is superior in that they only use natural and organic farm fresh ingredients. That means that I can feel good about letting my children enjoy a special treat and know that there are no chemicals or preservatives used to make any of Ruth’s Brownie Kitchen’s baked goods. My brownies arrived tasting so fresh that I would have thought that it just came out of the oven.

In addition to having possibly the world’s best brownie, Ruth’s Brownie Kitchen also has a line of cookies. I would love to try the Orange Chocolate Chunk Cookies with Candied Orange or the Ruth’s Own Dark Chocolate Chunk Cookies.

I am thinking ahead to the holidays…… I love to cook but it is well known that I am a terrible baker. I have given it my best shot over the years in my effort to be the “perfect wife and mother” but I have decided to give in to my inadequacy and am turning it over to the experts this year. I am planning to buy the Maple Cream Swirl Extra Fudgy Brownies made with REAL Vermont Maple Syrup….one to serve and one as a gift for my dad who is from Vermont and will love these brownies. I am also thinking about the Ruth’s Own Biscotti for Christmas morning to eat with a cup of hot coffee. For dinner, the Savory Biscotti made with two aged cheddar cheeses would be a nice accompaniment. And who can forget Santa? I bet he would love the White Chocolate Cookies with Dried Cranberries. For Thanksgiving, Ruth’s Brownie Kitchen is offering a Pumpkin Pie Brownie and Harvest Brownies which would certainly be a smash at your family dinner.

I even noticed that they have gift certificates so this would make the perfect gift idea for someone who lives across country or even to put in your own stocking (I’ve been known to do that…wink). Ruth’s Brownies and other goodies would make a great hostess gift too.
