One thing I have always been meticulous about has been my ears. Or I should say cleaning out the inside of my ears. I do it at least once a day and I had been using Q-tips until recently. I find that my ears fill up quickly with wax (yuck) and I often have dry flaky skin (double yuck). I recently tried out Clinere Ear Cleaners and it has changed the way I now care for my ears!
When I first heard about this product, I knew I had to try it. John thinks I have an ear cleaning obsession and thought it was funny that I was reviewing an ear cleaner. At least my ears will be clean I told him!
Clinere Ear Cleaners is similar to the tool a doctor uses and is made from a soft and flexible plastic. It has two ends- one to scoop out the wax and one to exfoliate (and itch). The scooper end is great when you have a build up of earwax to remove. It works much better than a cottonswab which only pushes the wax back in. Since I am so anal about cleaning my ears, I am always on top of the earwax department. I didn’t scoop out too much. John on the other hand got quite a bit! He doesn’t do it nearly as often as me.
My favourite part of the Clinere Ear Cleaner was the Scraper end. I gently brushed it around the visible portion of my ear and got off so much dead, dried skin. It felt so good to itch in there! I find the outer ear is where most of my buildup is so it worked great to slough off all the dead skin. I couldn’t believe how much came off. I even showed John, but he was pretty grossed out and didn’t want to look!
Clinere Ear Cleaners are sold in 10-count packages and priced between $5.99 and $6.99. Currently, they are available in Walmart, Kmart, Walgreens, CVS, Meijer, H-E-B and Shopko stores across the United States.
