Title: The Peanuts Collection: Treasures from the World’s Most Beloved Comic Strip
Author: Nat Gertler
My Review:
I am nostalgic about anything related to the Peanuts gang. The adventures of Snoopy, Woodstock and Linus (I had a favorite blankie too) were some of my fondest character memories of childhood. In celebration of the Peanuts 60th anniversary this beloved and timeless comic strip comes to life in The Peanuts Collection: Treasures From the World’s Most Beloved Comic Strip. This is a collection of rare materials selected from the family archives and the Charles M. Schulz museum and includes reproductions of comics, sketches, removable film cells, stickers and photographs from the Peanuts collection. I especially liked the reproduction prints that are ready for framing and display on your walls. The Peanuts Collection comes attractively protected in a sturdy slipcase.
The Peanuts Collection is created by Nat Gertler and includes quotes from the Schulz family and offers a behind the scenes insight into the making of the beloved comic script.
My children loved looking through the book with me at the colorful depictions of the Peanuts characters, memorabilia and comic strips. I especially adored the simplicity and charm of the “Joy to the World” card. This is truly a treasure trove of discovery for any fan of the Peanuts comic strip and a lovely homage to the genius Charles M. Schulz. If you know or are a Peanuts fan then this is a must have book for your collection.
You can purchase your copy of The Peanuts Collection at a retailer near you for $35.00 or go to Amazon.com where I spotted a fantastic deal for only $23.10.

I love peanuts, very nice to see another book out. I have slowly been putting together the complete library in hardcover books, and trying to find copies in French as well (I have not spotted any thus far). Hopefully this means more cute Peanuts stuff in stores this holiday season
