Title: Ansel Adams in the National Parks: Photographs from America’s Wild Places
Author: Ansel Adams
My Review:
This book is probably more for Americans than Canadians as it focuses on the American National Parks. However, for anyone who enjoys photography and even more if you are an Ansel Adams fan, this book is priceless.
There are over 225 photographs, many of which have never been published or seen before. There is a lot of good commentary, but most of the book is purely pictures. The pictures are breathtaking and there are so many that I wanted to take and get framed.
This would be a great coffee table book or one for any aspiring photographer. Even for someone who loves the environment as Ansel Adams did… so many people would appreciate the photos contained in this book.
Mr. Adams passed away in 1984, but his photographs are still talked about, admired, studied and enjoyed. This is an awesome book!
