Our house has some crazy hard water. I think I’ve tried every single type and brand of laundry detergent out there in an effort to find one that really works well. I’ve even made my own laundry soap both liquid and powder. If I found something that got our clothes clean then it smelled funny or was insanely expensive.
When you have a kid who refluxes as much as my son does, you go through a lot of washcloths and shirts. I need something that will clean but will also not deteriorate the fabric. I’ll be honest I figured I’d give this a shot and it would work well enough for other people but not for my clothes. I was planning on taking a load to my sisters house (she has a water softener) and seeing how it worked and then giving it to her. I figured I’d give it a run first before I loaded up some clothes.

I cannot tell you how surprised I was to see how well it cleaned our clothes. I even used it to clean our carpets. Not sure if that’s a recommended use or not but it worked! I’ve been buying enzyme cleaners and had seriously considered using bleach or hydrogen peroxide in some of my weaker moments. This laundry soap is safe for all temperatures on whites, bright colors, prints and delicates. The only thing it says it’s not for use with is silk or wool. You can use it in a top load or front load washing machine. It dissolves easily and completely. I was a little concerned because it says it has Oxygen Bleach in it and I figured it might fade all the bright pink shirts my daughter loves. I think they might actually be brighter after washing them. Not so good for my eyesight but good for the laundry!
If you’d like more stain cleaning power this can be used with their Oxygen Bleach Destainer and Deodorizer to provide optimum cleaning and stain removal. I’ll be ordering some of that next.

I was given a bottle of powdered laundry detergent for review purposes. I was not financially compensated for this review and this is my honest opinion.
