Smitten is a cute store with many interesting pieces in it! It was founded in 2008 by the owners who, according to their website, “wanted a chic but wearable line that made women weak in the knees”. When I was looking around the site, I found a number of cute and fun items that I wanted to learn more about! I was excited at the opportunity to review one of their items as well as providing a giveaway for readers too!

The item that I chose to review was the Woven Top with Sleeve and Chest detailing. This shirt was obviously incredibly popular as you can’t get one on the site right now (hopefully it will return in the future because I love mine!). When the shirt arrived, I am immediately impressed by the quality and the detail on it. It is a white top with pleating down the front as well as some cute little decorative domes on it. I have found that it fit well and had a romantic, billowy quality to it. It also washes and wears well – I was concerned because it is white but I’ve found that it still looks great after multiple cleanings!

I love Smitten because I think the clothing has a retro-feel but is fashion-forward at the same time! I also like that there is enough variety in the styles that there is something for women of all ages (I particularly like some of their cardigans and tops. I’ve been really pleased with my experiences with Smitten!
