The GiggleBellies is a new award winning musical DVD for kids ages 1 and up. It is preschool music with a twist and it’s a lot of fun! Riley had a great time dancing and singing along. I had to tell her to move out of the way several times so that her brother could watch too! I’m not usually a big fan of preschool music because it gets stuck in my head and annoys me but this was great. I enjoyed watching it with my kids and had fun helping Colby clap along to the rhythm.
GiggleBellies is the creative effort of Kerry Miller Johnson and Pauline Saab. They are best friends and have dedicated the last four years of their lives to creating this program! This DVD was just released 6 months ago and has already won several awards!
Some of those awards include the:
- Creative Child Magazine 2010 DVD of the Year award for the Musical Animation DVD category
- Mr. Dad Seal of Approval
- 3 Omni Awards, 3 Telly Awards for “Wheels on the bus†animated song
The DVD includes 9 unique 2-4 minute music segments that are easy to sing and fun to dance to.
On the GiggleBellies website there are free coloring pages and fully illustrated lyric sheets.
This was a wonderful DVD that kept my kids (who are quite picky about TV shows) entertained, laughing and singing along. I can’t wait for volume two to be released in 2011. We will own a copy of it!
