Title: Desire Me (The Legend Hunters)
Author: Robyn DeHart
About the Book:
The Legend Hunters . . .
The Men of Solomon’s meet in secret, their very existence only a rumor among the best of Victorian society. They are treasure hunters, men of wealth and title, seekers of myths and legends. And no legend is as mystifying as the lost city of Atlantis . . .
DESIRE ME
Years ago, Maxwell Barrett found a map to Atlantis and dedicated his life to the search for the mystical lost continent. But when an alluring woman makes a wager for the priceless artifact, he may have discovered an even greater treasure.
A descendant of Atlantis, Sabine Tobias needs the map to decipher an ancient prophecy. What she doesn’t need are the sparks flying between her and Max. He’s too devilishly charming to be trusted: The fate of her people is at stake as well as her heart. Yet a ruthless killer also covets the map. Now Max and Sabine must race to decode the prophecy’s riddle before this criminal fulfills his deadly mission.
My Review:
I did not know this book was the second of a series of books, but the author is wonderful at telling a story, especially in historical novels.  History is not my forte, but this book was actually a different type of book I have ever read!
I liked the storyline, especially dealing with the lost city of Atlantis and all.  I did not read the first book, so I do not have anything to go by except what is in front of me.  It took me a few chapters, but man…did this story really draw me in!
The characters, Sabine and her aunts were especially fun to follow throughout the story.   Sabine especially drew me in, with who she is and what she was trying to accomplish.   Max was another fun character to watch….the map, and falling in love with Sabine.
My favorite part of the book was watching the sparks fly between the two characters…and knowing exactly how that feels.  You can almost put yourself into that characters shoes…the Author did an awesome job at writing this book.  I loved this book so much that I have had to look at getting the first book!
This is my honest opinion about this book.

My original comment didn’t go through. I was saying that I also enjoyed this book – and didn’t read or know about the 1st one. The women were hilarious and the treasure hunt was fun. It was an easy and fast read.
