Blog Spotlight | TreasureLine Books & Publishing
I am running a feature spotlighting other Review & Giveaway Blogs. If you have one and would like to be featured, please email me at email@example.com
Today I would like to welcome Linda from TreasureLine Books & Publishing. I had a chance to learn more about her blog and here’s what she had to say…
Please tell me about yourself.
My name is Linda Boulanger. I’m part of the TreasureLine Books & Publishing group and also an author.
Please tell me about your blog.
Although I participate in several blogs, I want to talk about the TreasureLineBooks.blogspot.com blog.
How long have you been blogging?
Wow! Although this blog is fairly new, I’ve blogged off and on for a few years on other sites and/or been a guest blogger on several.
How did you get started?
I started as a guest blogger and then set up my own blog as an author. TreasureLine had a couple of different blogs and we have created more.
What kinds of products do you feature on your blog?
We feature books and items related to the books. We began with a poetry book about memories that we paired with a bag of coffee and a kitchen towel with coffee related items.Sometimes it will be just the books. Other times it will be paired items. We’ll be doing a giveaway with Sharon E. Cathcart’s In The Eye of The Beholder paired with either a handmade phantom mask pendant or mask & roses ornament. There will be book covers, jewelry items, etc. attached to the books at times.
What was your favorite giveaway?
We’ve just started but I’m pretty excited about Sharon’s book. I’m also looking forward to Jaimey Grant’s upcoming Deception as it will coincide with the book’s release.
Who does your blog appeal to?
Our blog is geared toward book lovers/readers.
What direction do you see your blog going in the future?
We will continue with the giveaways and the interviews to allow followers to get to know authors and enjoy their works.
What is the biggest challenge you have faced so far with your blog?
Time! With everything else continuing to move forward at such a fast pace, it is often easy to put off the blog entry until tomorrow.
What do you love about blogging?
I especially love the sharing and the interaction. I co-author a couple of other blogs and have my own author blog. I find I enjoy the same on each.
Do you have a blogging pet peeve?
Irrelevant comments!!! It’s okay to plug your book or your blog but make sure you do what the contest has asked first!
Do you have any advice for the readers entering your giveaway? newbie review bloggers?
My advice for those entering our giveaways is to see what it is asking and do that. Also make sure you leave a way for us to contact you, especially if your link does not give a way. Newbie review bloggers??? Not sure other than read a good portion of the blog before making the review.
Tell me some of your favourite blogs that you read.
There are so many great blogs packed with information, giveaways, and just plain fun. I also enjoy the blogs that make me feel. Some of my favorites are:
There are others way more; mostly book and author related. It gets crazy sometimes trying to keep up.
How can people find you?
That is the blog. We’re on FaceBook and Twitter as well and you can get to all our sites from the blog (I think!). Our bookstore is at: http://www.treasurelinebooks.com
