BKW Seasoning Review & Giveaway (Closed)

BKW Seasoning is a family owned business. They started making seasonings back in the early 1960â€™s. The goal was to make an original buffalo-style wing that would satisfy friends and family. In 1007 they opened a small take-out restaurant near the University of Tennessee campus called Big Kahuna Wings. Two weeks after opening they competed against 29 other national, regional and local restaurants (including Hooterâ€™s and Spicyâ€™s) and was voted Best wings in the Knoxville annual â€œWar of the Wingsâ€.

I was given the opportunity to sample their 7 pack of spices. We grill a lot and we like a lot of flavor. I was not disappointed with this set of spices. I opened them all up and tried them one at a time. I could think of specific dishes for each one that I will be making over the next two weeks.

First I had to try the Original Butter Blend. I read the description on the bottle and it said it was great on popcorn. I love popcorn! Iâ€™m a purist. Give me a lot of real butter and some salt. I am fully converted to seasonings now! Iâ€™m ashamed to admit I ate an entire huge bowl of popcorn all by myself! It was that good. If you know someone who loves to grill, cook or eat this is a great gift to give.

My only complaint is that itâ€™s not available for sale in Utah. If you canâ€™t wait for it to come to your state or to win the giveaway you can purchase individual bottles or gift packs atÂ BKWâ€™s website using Paypal. The other great about their website is that they offer 5 lb tubs of seasoning. So if you really like a flavor you can get a lot all in one shot.
