Spring Bling: Joseph Allen Designs Review & Giveaway (Closed)

When I ran across Joseph Allen Designs,Â I was amazed at how beautiful his pieces are!

Joseph has been designing pieces since high school and started his own business over ten years ago. He gives some wonderful history about himself (and a great photo with his family) on his website.

I was mesmerized by Joe’s pieces, but I was also drawn in to learn more about him when I read about Flat Joe project. Joseph allows people to provide a home for Flat Joe (who is absolutely adorable!) and then blog about what Flat Joe has done during their visit. The project began when Joseph decided to emulate the Flat Stanley project – he gives some great details about it here. The cool thing about taking Flat Joe on a journey is that you can get some great discounts on any items you buy, as can your friends AND Joseph also donates 10% of sales during Flat Joe’s time with you to a charity of your choice! You can read all about how to become a Flat Joe caretaker. I thought it was such a cool idea and I loved the fact that Joseph is willing to donate some of his sales to charity at the same time!

Joseph allowed me to choose a necklace of my choice and personalized with some ideas that are important to me. I chose to receive a Two Oval Disc in Satin and have it inscribed for me. When it arrived I was simply blown away – I loved the way it was inscribed (the design work was flawless!) and I loved the finish on the necklace and the beauty of the chain. I really was speechless (which is shocking if you know me!) because it was truly breathtakingly beautiful!

Joseph was an awesome person to deal with and I’ve already started recommending his site to some of my friends who love jewelry as much as I do! I’m beyond pleased with my necklace as well as Joseph’s great service! I plan to keep watching Flat Joe as well because he is THE cutest thing and I want to see where he travels next!
