It’s time for Five Question Friday hosted by My Little Life. Here’s my answers!!
1. If you could go back to college would you change your major? Or, if you were to go to college right now…what major would you choose?
My major was business (accounting) and I would DEFINITELY change my major. I was an accountant for 5 years and it was sooooo boring!! Not my thing at all! I would go into something health related like Nursing. I feel that is the path for me to take and that I would make a good nurse since I can understand what it’s like to live with pain everyday. I want to so badly go back to school, but feel I can’t just yet because of my health and the chronic pain issues I still suffer from. If I can get that under control, I am going to take the plunge and go back and become a nurse.
2. What do you love most about your home?
I love that it’s got lots of character as its an older home. Its also quite a large house- we have 4 bedrooms. I love our sun porch and its nice to sit in there with a coffee and enjoy the sunrise.
3. What types of books do you like to read (if you like to read at all)?
I am an avid reader with a book addiction. I am constantly buying books at bookstores, flea markets and yard sales. I read a diverse selection of books. I love chick lit, memoirs, thrillers and the odd romance. My favourite authors are Jodi Picoult, Sophie Kinsella, Emily Giffen, and Jennifer Weiner. Lately I have been reading lots of YA which I am enjoying. I also LOVE the Twilight saga! John keeps building me more book shelves to house all my books!
4. What is the grossest thing you’ve ever eaten?
I once tried a bear sausage, but I didn’t know that until after I had eaten it. It had tonnes of gristle in it and was so yucky! I could puke right now just thinking of it.
5. If you HAD to be a character on a TV show, whom would you be?
I would be Claire from Heroes because of her healing powers. I wish I could heal my body and never feel pain again!!

It’s funny how you want to be a nurse. I am a registered nurse and I would change my career given the chance. I would love to learn graphics and web design. I’m sure the stress level would be much less than what I do in nursing and you could also work from home.
Don’t get me wrong, nursing is rewarding and you can make very good money, just stressful! Cathy
I soooo agree with #1. I made the same mistake!
