Royale Reno-cation Blog Contest

I think I would probably pass out if I were to win the Royale Reno-cation Contest. I mean who couldn’t use an extra $13,000 to put towards home renovations and a fabulous 11 night Caribbean Cruise vacation? That money would come in very handy right now considering the state of our home. Currently, our kitchen is completely gutted and I mean right down to the bare bones people. No sink. No counters. No walls. We had zero insulation all winter which cost us over $10 a day in oil heat. And worst of all, John has no money to fix any of it. So what do I do…well, I improvise. I do dishes in the bathroom sink and use the stove as my counter space. The rest of the kitchen supplies has moved onto our dining room table. I think you can see where I am going here…I would use that money to help him fix the kitchen and put insulation in the rest of the walls in the house. I am soooooo tired of living in renovation hell with no end in sight!

As for my dream vacation, I think an 11 night Caribbean Cruise sounds amazing! I would never turn down an opportunity to go. However, if I had to pick my ultimate dream vacation, I know it would be to go to Europe especially to visit Scotland and Ireland. My best friend lives in Italy and I am hoping to be able to get over to see her someday soon.
