Sometimes it is frustrating to teach our kids to self feed for many reason. The mess, the impatient child, the business of our day. Plus there are not a lot of supplies out there that actually make it easy for them to learn. If you were like me, you had the highchair over a huge mat that you had to take outside after every meal to shake it off. The bowl/plate was always sliding around and the utensils were too big for those little hands. I love the shape and the look of the Baby Dipper bowl. And I love the size of both the bowl and fork and spoon. The non slip base prevents it from sliding all over the table or high chair tray and the bowl slopes to an angle making it great for scooping the food onto the spoon instead of having to scrape the bottom of the dish. It makes an awesome dessert dish for a toddler which is what we put in it for Sadie to review. It was easy for her to get the icecream on her spoon and she didn’t have to hold onto the bowl with one hand because of the non slip base. The Baby Dipper is BPA free, lead free, and phthalate-free.
